Searches are the core of AutoTee. A search monitors for tee times and either books automatically or notifies you when times become available.

Search Types

Automatically books a tee time when your criteria are met.
  • Cost: $7 per booking or 1 credit (first booking free!)
  • Only charged when booking succeeds
  • Requires a payment method on file
  • Perfect for hard-to-get times and catching cancellations
Sends you a notification when tee times are available.
  • Cost: Free
  • You book manually through the course website
  • Great for checking availability before committing

Step 1: Select a Course

Use the search bar to find your course by name, city, or state. Click to select it.
Star your favorite courses for quick access. They’ll appear at the top of your search results.

Step 2: Choose Search Type

Select either Booking or Alert. For booking searches, make sure you have:
  • A connected account for that platform
  • A payment method on file

Step 3: Set Date and Time

Pick your preferred date using the calendar picker, then set your time range - the earliest and latest tee times you’ll accept.
Wider time ranges increase your chances of catching a cancellation. If you’re flexible, set a range like 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM instead of a single hour.

Step 4: Configure Options

Set the number of players (1-4) and holes (9 or 18).

Step 5: Advanced Options (Optional)

Set a future time for the search to start running. Useful for:
  • Courses that release tee times at a specific time (e.g., 7 days out at 6:00 AM)
  • Booking windows that open at midnight
  • Being first in line when new times drop
For some courses, you can request a golf cart be added to your booking.
Click Create Search to start monitoring.

Managing Searches

Status Examples

When a tee time is found and booked, you’ll see the confirmation details.

If your card is declined after booking, you’ll see a warning with instructions.

If payment isn’t resolved in time, the booking may be cancelled (Chronogolf only).

Click the pause button to temporarily stop a search. You can resume it later. Click the delete button to permanently remove a search. You’ll be asked to confirm.
Deleting a completed booking search does not cancel the tee time. You must cancel through the course directly.

Catching Cancellations

AutoTee excels at catching last-minute cancellations. Here’s how to maximize your chances:
