1. Overview
AutoTee sends SMS messages for account verification, booking confirmations, and payment notifications. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS. Message and data rates may apply.2. How We Collect Consent
During account setup on autotee.io, users are asked to provide and verify their phone number. Users must complete a two-step opt-in process before any SMS messages are sent.2.1 Opt-In Process
- User creates an account on AutoTee
- User navigates to account Settings and enters their phone number
- User clicks “Send Verification Code” — this action constitutes explicit opt-in consent to receive SMS messages from AutoTee, including verification codes, booking confirmations, and payment notifications
- AutoTee sends a single SMS containing a 6-digit verification code
- User enters the code to complete phone verification — this confirms consent
- After successful verification, the user may receive transactional SMS notifications related to their account activity
- Phone number verification codes
- Tee time booking confirmations
- Payment and billing notifications (e.g., charge confirmations, payment failures)
2.2 Sample Messages
[AutoTee] Your verification code is 123456. This code expires in 10 minutes.

3. Message Frequency
- Verification: One (1) SMS per verification attempt. Users may request a new code if the original expires (10-minute expiry).
- Booking notifications: One (1) SMS per successful tee time booking.
- Payment notifications: One (1) SMS per payment event (charge success or failure).
- Estimated total: Fewer than 10 messages per month for typical usage.
- No recurring marketing or promotional messages are sent.
4. Opt-Out
Users can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:- Replying STOP to any message received from AutoTee
- Removing their phone number from their account in the Settings tab
- Contacting support@autotee.io
5. Costs
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. AutoTee does not charge any fees for SMS messages.6. Data Handling
- Phone numbers are stored securely and encrypted at rest
- Phone numbers are used only for account verification and transactional notifications
- Phone numbers are never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing

7. Supported Carriers
SMS is supported on all major US mobile carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. VoIP numbers (Google Voice, TextNow, etc.) are not supported for security purposes.8. Contact
